Finding the Best Home For Unclaimed Gear

Whether it be a single glove, a bent ski pole, or a pair of snowboard boots that got left behind, we’ll pick up everything in your lost and found, and find the best possible home for each item —

Good Condition Items

Items in good condition will be sold next season in our Provo gear exchange, with 30% of the proceeds donated to a local cause or charity of your choice (or we can write out a check to your hotel).

Selling in our gear exchange helps make the outdoors more accessible for local students and others in the community who may not be able to afford new full-priced gear.

Repairable Items

Many items are left unclaimed at hotels because they are broken or damaged, and too much of a hassle to fix. These items are normally bound for the landfill (or a dusty closet), but we’ll do our best to repair any broken gear, and find it a new home.

Recyclable Items

End-of-life gear will be used for parts / fabric in our repair center, or recycled where possible.

Everything Else

Any gear we can’t sell, repair, or recycle, we’ll dispose of for you. Our goal is to keep this category to a minimum!

How Pickup Works

Simply add your hotel to the pickup list along with a few details (contact phone, where to find the lost and found, etc).

We’ll call or text you on pickup day to confirm pickup time.

We’ll come with everything needed to bag up your lost and found and haul it off for you.

Next March/April, we’ll send you an impact summary outlining how your lost and found was put to good use, along with a check to the charity of your choice (or back to your hotel) with your portion of the proceeds.
